Td5 dash upgrade
I have an early TD5 (99 year) and the dash is very basic.

How hard is it to upgrade it to something newer and wire in functions like heated seats/windscreens etc?

& workload aside, where can I buy a full dash? I'm struggling to find a supplier

Thanks

I put a later TD5 dash into my 1999 300, fairly straight forward, esp if you don't use the later instruments but they can be connected up if you have the know how and certainly give better illumination, particually like the illuminated heater decals.

Re seats, if you want OEM switches controling the heater elements on later seats you will need to source a loom or just add after market pads to your existing seats, use the included loom and change over the switches (think I remember someone posting a wireing diagram on here some time ago).

Got my dash after a long ebay wait.

Ok cheers so it's doable, if I can find a dash...

& I can't imagine original ones come up too often.

There's no britpart alternative?
