left it too late as usual.
looking for accommodation within 30 mins of Swansea for a week. can be caravan (touring), B&B or hotel. preferably somewhere a little off the beaten track. access to coast would be nice etc but just looking for a few suggestions we might not easily find do a search on the web. many thanks, |

/\ we'd tried several campsites and would appear we're about 2 months too late to get a decent site with elec.
anyhow we've just got booked in at Premier Inn. not brill but it'll do the job......... just seeing if I can get me some free parking in / near the city centre now that's for the suggestions. |

so I'm mostly sorted now - or at least I am with accommodation for me and the family.....
just need accommodation for the def ? accommodation is in the city centre next to the City Gate NCP but not sure if that'll be suitable in terms of safety, height restrictions and are the access ramps / bends 110 turning circle friendly. I'll spending sometime a mile away at the University.....perhaps leave the def there and walk back to the hotel? any other thoughts / recommendations? |

Swansea city centre from my experience is kinda rough with a lot of homelessness and drug addicts, with a lot of Gym roids spoiling for a fight most weekends outside the bars, id be wary of parking it over night in the centre myself.
Mind you this was a few years ago ive not been back since, only skirted it on the M4 to west Wales! 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

I would have to agree sadly enough. It used to be the car crime top spot a few years ago as well. Make sure you put all your locks etc on. A ride back on GWR's finest is not recommended
