Vibration through accelerator pedal
They keep you on your toes, these Pumas.

Or off them Rolling Eyes

In the last 24 hours Mrs Do$h has complained of a vibration through the accelerator pedal, bad enough to leave her foot numb, like pins and needles, after just 10 miles. I thought she was pulling my leg, but after taking it out for a spin just now there is a definite "buzz" in the pedal. The rest of the car seems ok but then much of what you touch in the car is 1) only touched intermittently and 2) reasonably well damped.

It is at its worst at 1800rpm - 2000rpm but is present at all engine speeds. It doesn't come in at a given road speed, so drivetrain resonance can be counted out. Worse under load but still there on a trailing throttle. It's as if there's the hint of an inbalance in the injectors.

Anyone else come across this? Any thoughts?

All sorted. A healthy dose of injector cleaner seems to have sorted it. Thumbs Up
