I had similar problems with an HTC HD2 which I binned for an iphone 3GS.
I love the iphone too but agree the major drawback is its battery life.... That said though, if you turn off things like bluetooth, location services, wifi, 3g, push email etc etc and only turn them on when you need them, then you can stretch the battery out a heck of a lot longer. This works for me, but for 90% of the time, I only want to make/receive calls, so for heavy mobile internet users, then this probably wouldn't work. I believe the iphone 4 battery is meant to be better than the iphone 3 ..... not 100% on that though Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

Desire is due an update this month, so knowing HTC end of this year!
I cant really fault mine, needs occasional reset, but other than that no issues. GO to your apps list, and move them to the SD cards, clears a lot of the space on the phone! Ben Rebuilt 1996 black/white Defender 90 300 TDi |

CFB - does it do all the internet/GPS stuff? I do find that useful. I think it's touch screen phones in general; just don't really get on with typing on them. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

I have an Iphone but it often gets left at home, but the phone I take with me in my Sonim Land Rover. I has FAR better reception, the battery lasts for ever - i'm talking a month without a charge, and i cant break it. Also, I can;t get email on it. Which I love.

John, what's gone wrong with your HTC? My Nexus One (essentially the same phone) lost the power button recently. HTC arranged collection, repaired it and had it back to me in a fortnight.

Internet on the BB Bold is very good, has BB6 operating system and works on 3G and GPRS very well. Not used it for GPS so can't advise but it does have it built in. Andy |
