Mine gives me an approximate indication of the time, needing some adjustment every three months. It is after all a forty year old design in a Defender

My clock has stopped at 2.15 though I have to say it is accurate to the minute twice a day.
I always thought a quartz movement would be far too modern so JLR knowing the water ingress of the Defender opted for the water clock movement. So depending on the water drop frequency behind the dash it will either run slow or fast For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Mine is fairly accurate, very rare I have to alter it. Usually putting forward or back for the spring /winter is the only time I touch it.

Only have to change the time twice yearly. For winter and summertime adjustment. Otherwise keeps the time perfectly.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
