Removal of rear jump seats 110

Hi,

I am not mechanically minded although love giving it a go.

One job I want to do ahead of the summer is remove the rear most seats (2 forward facing seats) in my 110 (Reg: 2010).

Although it looks simple the screw head on the bolts attached to the chassis appears to be different. I wondered if anyone had an 'idiots guide' video or similar that could guide me through. It looks straight forward enough but I don't know the tool that I need.

Hardest parts are probably extracting the plastic screws from the caps covering the hinges, as the heads are made of choclate and easy to ruin (I found a trim removal tool to exert a littel leverage helped) and the finally lift out the back when you realise they weigh as much as a baby rhino 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Removed both yesterday to install soundproofing and carpet. Then installed them again. Nothing to go wrong basically if you have the right socket. Don’t forget the two 13mm hex nuts under each rear wing.

As said above; they are heavy! If you plan to leave them out don’t forget to put the bolts back in and have four m8 bolts with washers and nuts ready to cover the remaining bolts. Lots of water and noise will come in otherwise.
