You really need the prop off to check the UJ's properly, but it maybe spline wear on the slider in your case.
If you do check slider wear make sure you don't pull it out all together if you can without a reference mark and much the same should be done with each end to the diff flanges so everything goes back as it should. Wear at that point cannot be repaired and a new propshaft is the only answer. The wear will be caused by a failure to grease the shaft.

Ok great I’ll try this to see what I come across. It would be nice if it was just the UJ but I won’t get my hopes up too soon. It’s a good starting point! |

I was thinking that it was lack of grease in there, I greased the UJs but to be honest I am not really sure you can grease the prop shaft where I am having the problem. I believe on the older models you could but not on the newer, if you could help me out by pointing me where to do it that would be great. Cheers |
