You can use a generic one. Most have a yellow RCA type connector for the video.
If not you can get adaptors very cheaply |

With alpine it isn’t that easy. So I would call the shop/Pioneer to be sure. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

I have a pioneer single din flip out, I used a cheap amazon camera with no problems at all.
The camera has a tiny + signal cable within the camera feed cable which triggers the screen to change input. incredibly easy to fit, no need to use pioneers own camera https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07216SXX...asin_title |

Thats great, thanks. How do you find the pioneer head unit? i managed to pick one up second had and am yet to fit but have heard good things.
