Cabin air con/ventilation filter?
Is there any kind of filter for the cabin air con/ventilation system does anyone know please? and if there is, do you know how to replace or clean it? Following my trip to Morocco when ever I put the aircon on now you get a taste of the dust from the system. Cheers Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

There is no filter, and I suffered the same from Morocco. Before my next trip I am going to by some open cell foam like might be used in a fish tank filters. I’m going to cut it so it can be inserted up into the snow cowl to see if that will function as rudimentary air con filter that can be easily pulled out and washed as required. Might clog really quick, but it is worth a try. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

On the cabin side, you can buy those filter sheets for window type air conditioners and cut them to the size of the hole under the dash, use thin double sided tape to stick them on and replace as necessary.

Do you mean this? https://www.devon4x4.com/d44-defender-cab-filter-black-lhd.html
Seems interesting, also because they provide a pollen filter (atchoo).
However, the filter seems to be quite exposed?

thats it, not the prettiest but does the job, just wash out the foam filter and refit - stops all the dust blowing in

Hi guys. There is a new solution to the problem of the lack of a cabin filter. Tested in dry and wet climates. works very well and filter cartridges are available in every automotive store. https://shop.otc4x4.eu/en/products/cabin-f...ack-9.html

Looks a bit weird with the snow cowl perched on top. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Very Happy But it does the job, filter stays dry even when driving in heavy rain...no leaves on the A/C evaporator

Black one with wing top plates is less visible but aesthetics is very individual, of course

Be warned that the more filtration you fit to the system on a puma where the filtration is on the vacuum side of the blower, the more engine bay air you suck in through the horrific ducting.

I had the Devon 4x4 one fitted before I "fixed" my duct. Great in principal. In practice it just sucked much more through the gaps in the ducting due to the pressure drop being greater as the filters on the end.
