yeah they came packaged really well, My dad went in a little huff when he saw them fitted. Got a little jealous, I think he is a little winded with the TD5, With it been the car that he wanted to buy over the 200. to me I couldn't care less Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

looks like I will have to get some strong super glue, my centre piece on the after market wheel is coming off,
So needs re gluing great eh, on a £50 quid wheel I am not bothered about replacing the wheel, for a few quid more. Its not worth it. Id rather just repair this one and put the money towards something else. Got a load of ideas that I would like to role out, Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

I sorted the steering wheel centre at work. With some heavy duty glue. So that's back together now.
Also today my mum dug out some spare speakers, that she had bought for our terr. She asked me if I wanted them, and I said yeah why not. So with this one having a bit of an upgrade ICE wise, i thought i might aswell throw these in. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge So those are in, Now the previous owner had built some kind of speaker bar, This car has second hand ICE wiring by the looks of it. But i am not bothered about that. Saves me a job, but i may make things better though at some point. His rear speakers had seen better days Click image to enlarge I had a pair left over from the old motor, which were going in the back, But with what happend, i never got the chance, I even lost the fixing kit sadly. So i thought i might awell get my money out of these, rather than been in storage. Not the best install, but these were an odd ball speaker, Which i may just replace if i decide to move the rear speakers to the rear corners like i had planned. Click image to enlarge It could do with a carpet to tidy it up, which is another idea. But at least its a start of upgrading some odds and sods. Also i won a proper Bull bar this time. So i am fitting a proper genuine bull bar this time. Just to save the front end at work and to stop people pulling infront at the min again!! Also i fitting spot lamps to this one too! I am trying to keep this one more OEM with a factory extras on. We are going the LUX route now Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Had a bit of a spray down of the heater controls, for some reason I am not getting cold air, hot air is spot on, but I am getting luck warm air on cold setting, the old defender would give me cold air. So I am not sure what the story is there. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Have you checked cable adjustment on the top of heater box, under the bonnet?

Well something came today, and I thought I might as well fit the thing. Ready for work tomorrow
a proper land rover bull bar got it for £130 delivered which wasn't bad and this one was the best condition out of the lot. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge on now! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Yep I am back with a bull bar, My dad said it looks much better with it on, I said lets see if people are going to be keen to pull out on me at the last moment! I know they are not to everyones taste, but where I work, it saves the front end, the other one some prat had reversed into it. That one does look better on this landy than the other bull bar did on the Tdi 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
