Congratulations Matt! Haven't seen the new colours in the metal - well perhaps I have on RR's or Disco's. As you say, now you have to try to forget about it until September! Will it be a 2.4 then, or the new engine? Presume current 2.4? Good choice anyway. What do the style and exterior packs consist of?

I havent seen the colour yet either, Stratstones dont think they will be out and about for a couple of weeks, all they could show me was a sample plate
Ive got it stated that its coming with a 2.4tdci in it, they told me that LR had not mentioned any changes to the defender engine in MY12, only to the other models. They have told me that if it turns up in sept with a 2.2tdci in it, i can have my deposit back and they will keep the vehicle. Style pack: met paint, alloys, anti roll bars, tow pack, Exterior pack: body colour roof + arches, station wagon roof, rear 1/4 windows, tinted glass, front mudflaps, side and rear steps. |

I would keep it if it turns up with a 2.2, in the future it will help you i.e. emissions etc

Dont mind a 2.2 but would like any issues resulting in fitting it into a defender, to have been ironed out before I have one
Think im happier with a tried and tested 2.4 lump in it Last edited by Matt on 21st May 2011 6:36pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Well done! You won't regret it! I wouldn't worry too much about the 2.2 but the exact details are not even known to dealers yet. 2011 110 USW

It's about the usual wait for a factory build Defender - I ordered my new 110 on the 6th Feb and I'm due to pick it up next week. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |
