I would remove, check and clean the earth strap on the transfer box.
If that doesn't do the trick, try a new Relay and go from there and see if that works out. Do you have a Multimeter? So the fact that the hazards are working ok - means theyโre on a different relay? Would a bad earth on the transfer box not affect other electrics? |

It's the same relay but more current flow with all four indicators flashing.
Earth faults can cause all manor of problems, of varying nature. Were the pins of the relay or holder corroded at all? I would say the Relay needs changing, it seems to not be detecting the 50% load compared to 100% load with the hazard flashing.
