What did Urban charge also... Rolling with laughter

As for the Focal Sub, does it come with a remote (wired or not) to turn the base up / down.

I'm considering this, but used to have Rockford Fosgate stuff back in my teenage days with dedicated amps and the like.... do I want to go down the rewire road.... Shocked

Thumbs Up

It's all done!

Pioneer z7100 Flip out head unit
Focal ES100K kit in the front
Focal PC130 in the back (mounted in Mud rear speaker panels)
Alpine SWE1200LR mounted to back of sub.
Mic for bluetooth mounted on top of A pillar trim

All working and sounding un-freaking-believable.

Thanks to everyone for the help.

Thumbs Up

Hey mate, how did you get the sub to work? I have just bought a pioneer Z7100 and having the same issue... cheers

Did you buy the LR040847 link harness?
Mine also needed a power feed wired in which I got a local auto electrical guy to do for me. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Can you confirm how long the LR040847 harness is? I can see it connects to the RCA plugs on the back of the Alpine head unit but does it run behind the dash and under the cubby to the sub?

Many thanks Ian

I believe it’s only short and is just an adapter between the phonos and a multiplug.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks, Martin - I thought so.....so there's another part or this part works in conjunction with a vehicle that was pre-wired for the sub?

Mine wasn't, so - assuming the latter - I'm better off sticking with making my own loom? Ian

Exaclty! Just bought the cable adapter. Lets see.

Was your sub/pioneer stereo OEM ? I wonder if I will have to take it to an electrician or whether the adapter will do the magic

It does not matter if long or short, its just a cable to convert the 16 PIn into ISO. You want it short

LR040847 isn’t enough on its own to retrofit the sub.

The power supply, switch-on wire and ground also need adding.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

My sub was a genuine Land Rover Alpine sub. I had the plug under the cubby that connected straight into the sub then used the harness to go from the other end that was loose behind the dash to the back of the head unit. The only thing missing was a power supply which someone fitted for me. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews
