Hard to know. Think I will try without. My mate made them for me so I can always go back. Plus these would look better I think

Gone. I think as you say when I didn’t have the rack and lights etc I liked them but happy with this now although I may go against my initial decision and fit the black chequer plate on the sills. Suspension is definitely on par with the twisted setup so I have no complaints there.

Hi Andy
Not said to much on this build to see which way you were going, so far i like it, but i do prefer the strips, very retro and very different, i think the strips broke up all that white in a good way ![]() So your going down the the route of another V8 very nice, i hoped you would and with the same outfit/installers as before ![]() 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. I guess stripes are a bit like white lettering on tyre walls

No a different route this time. Closer to home but I will hopefully have things confirmed on Tuesday. TRF remover actually stained the vinyl so I was a little ![]() 2014 Fuji 110 SW LS3 https://www.defender2.net/forum/post751233.html#751233 2014 Corris 110 SW http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40056.html My old Xtech 90 build.. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic15681.html LS3 V8 build... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49051.html |

I liked the stripes. It was nice to see something a bit different.
Not tempted to go with the Ls4 this time around? |

Good news that Mr Redman is going to be charge of the LS install
![]() Not good news with the TFR on the stripes so i can see why you removed them, not sure if there is anything out there that can prevent this from happening again apart from not putting TFR on them, hopefully there is a way around this problem ![]() 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. |
