Just for comparison (and odd that they're using miles per kw, most people seem to be using wh per mile?) Rivian: 455Wh per mile Tesla model 3 (stated): 243Wh per mile Audi e-tron quattro (stated): 384Wh per mile Nissan Leaf (stated): 264Wh per mile So yeah, pretty inefficient, but not unexpected given it's size, drag and weight! |

If anything, it does show how far JLR are behind, or appears so. Not withstanding the vehicle supply issues.
With the current state of the UK and uncertainty I wonder how many people would jump straight over to the Rivian SUV if it became available to us here tomorrow. The segment with the Yak farmer does show this as a multi use vehicle and not an accessory for the chino wearing, Twitbook, Apple fan club. |

Why does it have to be so ugly? Is there a reason why it can’t just look like a normal pickup?
Technologically quite impressive though. |

Quite a bit of Rivian coverage on ‘The Long Way Up’ with Ewan McGregor also with 2x Electric Harley Davidson’s
Quite a good watch and although mainly in South America it shows the charging infrastructure has a long way to go yet, with them having to have a diesel generator for back up sometimes! 1997 Ex-MOD 110, Pop Top Camper, build thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72352.html 2014 Discovery 4 SE Tech Instagram @the110camper |
