Puma SW rear door trim removal
I’m trying to find a tutorial on removing the rear door interior trim panel to install the front runner fold down table Father Christmas brought me. I’m seeing many in removing the back door (ie rear passanger door trim) but not the rear swing away door on my SW.

Thanks

Remove the metal grab handle then use a suitable too, to pry the door card off, there are plastic clips in the trim that engage witht the door just like the other doors on the vehicle.

Here's a picture of the door with the card removed. The plastic clips, about 7of them clip into to holes to can see. I think sizx around the edges and one in the door centre.

You'll need to remove the squarish plastic insert behind the interior lift handle to get the door card off - do that first.

The clips get brittle with age as in the cold, but they only need a little bit of a lever to get them out.

Thx Hal, are they the Fir Tree type clips? Also- while I’ve got it off, any preventative maintenance stuff I should do while in there?

Not fir tree, slide-in double head to attach to inner side of door card with a push fit into the holes in the door frame.

I sika flexed the door skin then taped over it, you can see the silver tape.
I did that when I fitted a mantec wheel carrier - the skin had come away from the inner support struts.

Whilst I was in there I also changed the wiper relay wiring to allow delay wipe and I fairly recently ran a power lead for the high level brake light as the printed connection on the window glass phad a break where the cover for the light rubs against it.

Unfortunately I've lost the wiring diagram for the wiper relay but I do know I got it off a German land rover forum - Google translate is your friend. Maybe someone on def2 has something.
