The LA Auto Show 22Nov-01Dec would be after Frankfurt. We are in a global world these days.
Is there not a show in Slovakia to launch a locally made product? Yes there is, Autosalon Nitra 3-6 Oct. |

I can see it now, the Land Rover Defender, that design icon of Slovakian engineering, proudly sporting its "Land Rover Made in Nitra, Slovakia" grill badge in celebration of its thoroughbred heritage. How could it all go so wrong.

Building of defender starts in September in the new factory, will be in the UK showrooms by end of October I believe. 2015 HT XS 90

There’s still two interesting motorshows this year, before Francfort: Amsterdam (03/4) and New York (19/4). Remember that first Land Rover was showed there.

In Amsterdam, not in NY. Sorry. Land Rover showed us the camo new Defender in New York city, interested of course on american market.

Are JLR going to participate in any of the motor shows this year? They are not present in this years Geneva motor show for sure. Apparently they are embracing a new marketing strategy. More social media based plus private launch show events, same time abandoning the expensive motor shows.
