United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
I fitted a pair of standard plastic front door hamdles to the A posts and really don't know how I managed without them. I don't know who first thought of this idea, but it is genius.

Curious if this is actually fitted / screwed on or just for show? The grab handle, not the girl Whistle

Now that's an interesting grab handle! (Only a rivet-counter can say that. Whistle )

It looks remarkably similar to those fitted above the rear door of my 300Tdi Hard Top "County".

For the life of me, I cannot discover whether or not they were part of the factory-fit County spec for the Hard Top.

No seats have ever been fitted in the back, so they seem rather redundant.

However, I would not be averse to the young lady testing them.....

I think they were part of the 'County' trim pack as the piece of trim over the rear door is pre-drilled for them.

My current USW also has them, despite no seats in the rear.

Another interesting fact (I use the term loosely) about those handles is that they were also used in the Discovery and, despite being identical, are cheaper to buy than Defender ones on eBay. Darren
