I have my ipad in an otterbox case which i would like to keep it in and mount it on the dash but also in the rear when we sit down in the evening
I've found this; https://www.ram-mount.co.uk/quick-release-...hg9eli20c2 but it's only a 1" ball and i'm not sure what kind of weight the 1" ball can take and keep it steady. Does anyone have an ipad (pro 10.5) on a 1" Ram mount? Cheers |

I like it as it’s less obtrusive when the iPad’s not there
Good news that it’ll take the weight |

We have Panasonic Toughbook tablets fitted in our vehicles using the RAM system, absolutely solid. They get a lot of knocks and bumps, the only time I have seen them damaged is when people who are too lazy to slacken off the clamp and try to force the thing into a different position. Even then it takes years of abuse before they are actually ruined. Best mounting system out there as far as I’m concerned.

I ran a toughbook, in one of these https://www.ram-mount.co.uk/tough-tray-uni...1_615.html but on the larger ballmmm was a tad heavy for the 1"
The full size I pad is fine on the 1",, no bother,, I use in this mount https://www.ram-mount.co.uk/apple-ipad-min...6_677.html California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

You can use the claw clamp on the grab handle too, then is totally removable. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
