The window not working will be broken wire between A post and door. It will be in the rubber conduit. They may look ok but one will be snapped inside insulation. It will be the two thick wires for window.
Clocks will just be bulb. |

assuming your defender is standard wiring, then your first place is to check into the passenger compartment fuse box to see if the fuse has blown.
then move on to the wiring in the A pillar and then finally removing the door card to check at the connectors if there's power. if there's power, then it's time to either rebuild the motor (yes, it's possible if you have the time and skills) usually it stops working because of water in the motor and it starts rusting away. Failing which just replace the entire assembly (lifter and motor) you can't buy the motor alone The defender has migrated, leaving the owner behind. |
