Comparing apples with apples, once you add jacking points, VAT and delivery the Dixon 110 versions come in at £187 so there's not a vast difference between the 2, especially when you add in the cost of galvanising and the additional chassis crossmember.
Kit - like your idea of bedliner Option 2 for poncing sounds like a much easier way to fund the LR repairs 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |

Hot dip galvanisation is not a cheap option but for long term benefits I think it is worthwhile for items such as rock and tree sliders. Have no idea on cost of galv R + T sliders but it does put about £50 on a swingaway wheel carrier.

+ 1 for Dixon Fabrication - I have sliders and steering guard - Ian said to me the powder coat isn't amazing before I bought them. I paid £160 for both the steering guard and rock sliders - the product is superb and if I want to blast them and redcoat in anything else down the line, for the price they would still be good value!

Safari equip ones for me. I’m not going to be bothered to fit them, wait 18 months for the rust to start then remove get them stripped, treated and then recoated. Makes the SE much better value in the long run. I’ve had two sets of theirs before and both were brilliant.
