I had built a good relationship with them, now I’ve got to whip a new lot into shape.

Will the salesman not have been moved there? Either way, with your LR purchasing history they should be rolling out the red carpet and holding a champagne reception for you in my book Sold the Puma Defender and bought a brand new Pangea Green 2020 Defender D240 S with a few factory extras!

Yeah I still use the same salesman so that sides sorted, hopefully my parts guy moved there as well, he was always good for a discount or two.

Not the best photo but apparently spotted around the Stirling area.

I definitely prefer the old defender wheel cover. As I’ve mentioned in another post, I intend to find a simple old style plain black cover for mine once I get it Sold the Puma Defender and bought a brand new Pangea Green 2020 Defender D240 S with a few factory extras!

I’ve seen a couple of the new Defender wheel covers colour coded, they look a bit better.

The rear mounted spare is about the only thing I'm not keen on with the design. I get why they have done it to help with packaging and departure angles but to me it creates to many other compromises. I'm praying they release the 130 at some point and hope they stick to the design leaked last year with the wheel slung under the floor. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

I have a spare wheel cover........... it lives in my garage because it was so difficult to get onto both the OEM tyre and it’s really tight to fit to the Duratracs I’ve had fitted since, it would go on if I was prepared to spend the time trying and was happy to have my fingernails ripped off in the process Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

I saw my first New Def today. Now, I’m NOT knocking anyone who’s chosen to buy it (horses for courses, each to their own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, looks are subjective etc etc etc), but I was seriously underwhelmed. Indeed it was actually driving towards me and I almost missed it. In my opinion (IMO) this does the Defender lineage no justice what so ever from a purely looks/heritage point of view. Also saw spy shots of the new Facelift D5 today, and you’d struggle to tell them apart save the headlight shape. Ho hum. Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I an not convinced that will afford the level of protection expected in 🇦🇺 if you hit a large Roo at full tilt, it will be interesting to see what ARB, TJM or OL bring to market, which no doubt will be considerably cheaper than a LR bar and winch package, and designed for local hazards 🤞 yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

You say that like it's a bad thing. If you prefer a shoebox design and low powered rigs, more power to you! Not knocking your opinion, "beauty" is in the eye of beholder and all that. |
