... Almost impossible to tell ... it is plausible he did not know that he could or how to disable the comment section, so in doubt pro him. But I agree, there still sticks some muddy smell in the air, not to him. Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.

It’s 24c here this afternoon in sunny Central Scotland and I’ve just been out to the local garden centres. Now I know I was tempting oven type cabin temperatures with both a glass pano roof and the black contrast roof because my Countryman had the same combo and after sitting in the sun became a furnace inside. Mini’s HVAC was up to the job but the Defender’s does a really really good job of cooling down the vast interior. The black half leather seats in the Countryman were well up to giving you quick burn on a sunny afternoon but Acorn is nice and cool in the 110. My car only has dual zone ventilation So it was good to be asked by a rear seat passenger how to reduce the fan at the back “because I’m getting cold” Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

He has said there will be more videos about the issue but with comments disabled. I’m guessing he deleted the video of his own choosing. |

As far as I can see that is the only way that you'll get to use a hi-lift on the new Defscovery! I have to say that I like that, it is in the finest tradition of the overlander. Just as well it was a mechanical fault not an IT failure though. |

Any info on how the suspension got broken? They made a big deal in the pre-launch videos about driving into kerb stones at speed. How long before the recall to fit some axle strengthening brackets like the bodge on the last one? |

As far I could understand they hit something at speed. This guys managed to make a solid axles Toyota undrivable too, so my respect for their test drive.😀

Good thing they weren't in a classic Defender - the end of the axle would have snapped clean off!

If they had been in the old Defender they would have been getting plenty of feedback that they were going too fast for the terrain!!

Interesting tyre treads that they have on it for a test drive - not exactly anything OEM I would suggest!
Maybe I should relocate my Hi-lift from the 90 to the new one just in case! They must have had a jolly comprehensive toolkit with them too to do the engineering on the jack. I couldn't find the moment I was looking for, but I think this is the test the image is taken from. Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR Jeep Wrangler YJ 1990 4.0. Front 78' Dana 60, Rear CUCV 14 bolt |

Looks like it’s not worth paying the £2k extra for the air suspension on my 90.

Based on my observations, he doesn't appear to be very technologically savvy, but George could have figured out how to disable the comments. |
