Prop Shafts
Bit of a random question, But was gonna take my props off tommorow and grease them up< and just thought id ask for some tips ?

Ie what grease to use etc
Are the props hard to remove?
And how do i tell if the UJ's need replacing?

Also, do landrover grease prop shafts at main services?

You dont need to remove to grease, just a gun with the right nipple adaptor on it.

If the UJ's are shot there will be play in them, check for play by moving with a long screw driver in the joint, up/down left/right. Should be none or v little.

Standard ball type nipple.
You need a gun and put in one/two pumps, best not to push the grease out of the seals as this buggars the seals up.

Land rover do list this as a job on the service sheet.
