Just concerned about the rubber sleeve being spilt and looks like it been squashed.

pull the sleeve off the wider part and check condition of the splines - are they corroded? i have not checked how long yours should be but if it fits and can be removed with the vehicle on level ground, not jacked and there is still 15mm or so further compression from the amount you need to compress it to remove it i would suggest its ok. Has the vehicle been lowered? Cheers

Thanks James the prop is nearly new, not lowered all standard.
The old was even tighter to get off . Can the transfer box be different length. Just thinking maybe someone fitted a none standard one. |

How many miles has it done since fitting? Do you have 10mm or so compression as described above? Cheers
