fitting new chassis: problems to solve
I had an accident with my 110 SW MY2009, and need to put a new chassis under the car (Richards galvanised one).
I am ready to lift the body, but the bulkhead does not move after removing the 2 big bolts running through the chassis and the bulkhead (and all the other bodyfixings to the chassis). Any advice is welcome.

Each footwell has two bolts bolted to the chassis via a bracket. Depending what damage you have done it could of twisted around the bulkhead mounting, when I fitted mine I had to splay the bulkhead with a bottle jack to align the bolts, it could just be it’s now held on via friction alone.

Oh always triple check for earth straps as they can test the load limit of the kit you are lifting with Rolling with laughter 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Have you got the two bolts under the lip of the seatbox mat I’d describe them as the “saddles” ? Either side of the tunnel in the rectangular cut outs in the floor. Lot more brackets and bolts on a CSW.
