Good preparation, Halfords zinc primer followed by loads of coats of Halfords satin black and they'll look brand new. Did mine two years ago and they are still spot on

LoL just fitted the Britpart ones I ordered and couldn't cancel as they had been despatched.......took a journey to the supermarket not getting above 40 MPH and they where practically horizontal by the time I got there........They are not fit for purpose in my opinion so are being returned......

Anyone got a link to a decent OEM pair?

Not when folded in for normal use. Mine have lasted 12 years without problems.
