You are thinking of the wayfarer from Glyn ceiriog to Cynwyd, leads nicely in to the corwen carwash. Great lane.

Best way is to join Glass ( https://www.glass-uk.org/ ). You'll then get access to the superb, new Trailwise2. Using this, you can research the area you want to travel and find Rights of Way you can legally use. You may still need to check the local Definitive Map at the local council, but it will be a good start.

We just came back from a few days in Wales and found quite a few lanes by accident around the Cambrian mountains. Well worth the visit if you find yourself over that way, i'm sure there's a stack of legal roads you can go on

Lots of tracks around that area. Brechfa isn't far and there are some stonking lanes there. Ed
