Greenlaning in Wales: looking for tracks
In a few months we're planning a greenlaning trip in Wales. With greenlaning I do mean greenlaning, in other words: with repect for the law and nature.

Does anybody have any tracks we can use that answer to the above description?

We are 5 cars only and will stay over for about 5 days. Love views and little towns, but avoid cities if we can. We usually leave things cleaner then we found them and we will be stayng at a lodge for the period we are there.

Chances are it will be are one and only time in Wales, so thanks in advance for any help.

You are thinking of the wayfarer from Glyn ceiriog to Cynwyd, leads nicely in to the corwen carwash. Great lane.

Best way is to join Glass ( https://www.glass-uk.org/ ). You'll then get access to the superb, new Trailwise2. Using this, you can research the area you want to travel and find Rights of Way you can legally use. You may still need to check the local Definitive Map at the local council, but it will be a good start.

Have fun and post photos of your trip.

Cheers

Simon

We just came back from a few days in Wales and found quite a few lanes by accident around the Cambrian mountains. Well worth the visit if you find yourself over that way, i'm sure there's a stack of legal roads you can go on
