Removed my drl bumper and lost my headlights...
I’ve also removed my lazer rs8 as the soft a bar isn’t compatible with the bowler bumper There was a feed from the side lights (which still work) for the drl bumper which was used to dim the drl’s When lights came on... Can’t see this being a issue ? I’m guessing it has more to do with the removal of the rs8? Anybody have a idea ? Last edited by Likeomg on 28th Aug 2018 6:39pm. Edited 1 time in total |

So you are getting sidelight and main beam, but no dipped?
Or just sidelight, main beam indicator on dash but no headlight main beam nor dipped either? Check the fuses on the LR and the additional loom, and if they check out fit the LR H4 connectors without the additional loom and see if that woks. If it does the additional loom is the issue. It seems like you may have disconnected a trigger feed for your additional loom hence some lighting working but not the others. Sidelights are always switched via the LR loom, the dipped and main beam via their own dedicated relays if an additional loom is fitted. So if you are misssing say dipped or main separately the trigger feed is not there. If both don't work then it could be the LR loom. If no fuses are blown at all, then it's likely the trigger feed is not present after removing the RS8's. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

If you haven't already done so try removing the dim dip plug under the OSF wing too, it can always be plugged back in anyway.
I remember I had issues at one time with this, but I can't remember how I solved it. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Just like Steve said...
I disconnected the perm live as I didn’t think it was needed... Thought it just turned the drl’s on... typical my soldering iron is down on the farm Quick fix, thanks for the fault finding tips Edit - removed dim dip years ago, it was giving problems with the original jw speakers I had installed |

Excellent.
I had issues with the Dim Dip too with LED headlights so disconnected mine to a few years ago. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
