Pfft, all this work with this temperature will cost you a beer! Whistle Rolling with laughter

Anyway, here you are. By the way, I think may be it is possible to fit the carrier somewhat more to the left, further away from the edge if that is want you want?

Oh, and those are cm, not inches... Rolling with laughter Cheers, Vincent

perfect thank you , yes ive been in touch with Safari equip and the chap said he could make it so it sits 90mm further to the left which should make it look more central.

Yes it is possible to get the wheel shifted by up to 90 mm to the left and this might satisfy OCDness for being central.

However likes many things in life it is a compromise. Shift spare wheel 90 mm to the left and it is more difficult to access the rear door lever.

Haha I hear you, I guess it should be no worse than the standard wheel carrier position and access to door handle is ok.

you can see in the second pic i cut a piece of 2mm aluminium to space the bottom bracket out the same as the body work and in the third pic i made a couple of pieces rubber to hold the bracket of the back door and some plastic washers to take up the space on the bracket fitted to the back door, i also had to space out the rubber stops that were barely touching the carrier itself. nobody is perfect but being Scottish is a start
