Puzzled
Vehicle 09 110 USW with 22k on clock.

The other week drove out of drive and stalled the engine. Assumed it was my fault. Engine very reluctant to restart. Took several attempts.

Next day started OK but for 30-60 seconds, revs low and no pulling power. Run like a bag of spanners then was OK.

Next two times the same.

However ever since it has started and run fine.

So duff fuel? Rubbish in pick up pipe? Something more serious to worry about?

Any ideas folks?

Not low on fuel, had about 40 litres in tank.

Have topped up since the episodes.

Could have been water in the fuel. Might be worth running a can of wynns dry fuel through it.

A few options, as said already... fuel...water or dirt ingress, check filter. Check vent pipe also.
EGR maybe if MIL light came on?
We had one in that just lost power, it was like it was in limp mode, then ran ok, then went in limp again, that was a duff intercooler hose !

maybe a bad fill up somewhere, i'd put a tank of ultimate diesel in before you take it on a long run, it cleans the pipes, pumps and injectors. i don't use it every tank, probably 1 in 4 but it's good stuff.

also check fuel filter for water ingress
