PJ2106 - Yes I mean the downpipe (downpipe, mid pipe , over axle and tail pipe - all have silencers from factory. The front silencer is actually the CAT but acts as a silencer in terms of loudness - pre NNN ECU's like Greeny just have a small silencer rather than CAT in the downpipe instead I believe

I believe tuning company's actually have a silencer to get rid of the cat but looks like a cat is still in place which gets it through its MOT on visual inspection

Yes I believe you are right 5 Pot. Though my exhaust does not seem to have a silencer instead of the CAT. I might be wrong though. Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender

Straight through centre on mine. 1999 so pre cat as well, the downpipe is straight through, no silencers.

I have kept the rear silencer. Sounds great!

Exactly what I have got Miker.

Curious as to what it would sound like with no rear silencer ha! Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender

I hope mine sounds the same, but we don't have mountains here. Laughing Roel

This is what mine sounds like! I have some better footage somewhere that I need to sort and upload. I must admit I kind of enjoy it when someone else drives mine and I get to hear it from outside!
