MadMan EMS2 Installation
Ready to pull the trigger on a MadMan EMS2. Problem is, where to put it.

Either add on the panel here with the round cut out.

I have a double din conversion, but also have my ebrake switch mounted under this panel, that will have to be relocated. I will also have to rotate this panel, and have the madman on the top so it can be seen, with the switches on the bottom, not sure how much extra wiring there is behind this panel for the switches? Anyone know

Or go with a MUD Puma Pod

Would be cleaner, anyone have a POD? Thoughts

Thanks

Mark

And example of the round hole on top. Plenty of space for wires etc a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

I've got a Raptor Engineering dash top pod waiting to go on for some aux. gauges. Might be worth a look. Feels like a much higher quality item, as it is metal instead of the vac formed plastic Mud pod. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

the Raptor does look much better than the MudPod, and I never liked the "splash" on the back. Thanks

Looking at ordering the Madman2 and 2.4 sender system, but not sure of best place for installation. However, the place that seems so obvious would be to put it in place of the clock.

Has anybody installed it in this place or know of anyone who has done it? Does anyone have any photos? Im pretty sure someone has done it as it seems the perfect position.

Many thanks

Steve

My dash extension will get covered in leather to match the dash tops and when I get around to it, the front panel will get painted the same as the rest of the center dash, gloss black... still wiring everything up, heated door mirrors etc... work in progress...
