Understand
I will be be using a new diffs and Ashcroft shafts and all new seals etc etc So will the 10 spline casing taken all these? Don’t want to get all the bits and bobs and then find out they will not fit, my fear would be the shafts in case there is a different bushing or some thing inside the old casings Cheers Ivan 2016 Discovery 4 1989 90 CSW V8 (fully rebuilt and running like a dream) 1996 defender tray back fully rebuilt/loaded for challenge events |

Casing will fit OK (unless you've got a really old 6 bolt casing (6 bolt where the stub axle bolts on, newer ones are 7 bolt)
If you do buy a later complete axle, check the radius arm brackets as they're slightly wider on >300Tdi era axles (or get the later arms as well and benefit from the slightly wider bushes, supposed to aid handling) |
