You can, however, get a much better turning circle with them fitted. My old 110 with 265 tyres and 30mm spacers was more manoeuvrable than the D2 that my wife owned at the time. Darren

Its all very well saying adjust your stops so they dont catch but for us drivers of older Landys, especially the 110, its already like trying to turn a tanker with a very poor steering lock. I have had spacers fitted to various landys for over 30 yr and have never had a single issue. While not suggesting they never cause a problem there is a lot of old wives tales out there that get repeated and repeated. Any wrongly fitted or maintained part can cause a problem.

Spacers are great... it's the thought of Britpart spacers which gives me nightmares.

why would you use blue box bits on a critical area of a landy????
i would buy better offset wheels instead |
