I have an as-new take-off at the back of the garage you can buy if you want (I'll check the prevailing value if you are interested, but around £30 IIRC)
I didn't like the complexity of it, so I bought a cheap galvanized step to attach to the towing area: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge May be a better option... (if it will fit with a NAS) Plenty available https://www.towsure.com/double-van-rear-step-plated Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Thanks for the offer MartinK but I need one that folds up out of the way. I tow a variety of trailers and sometimes reverse into tight spaces and I think this fixed step would impede the trailer hitch

I think Martin is offering you a fold up step that he took off and replaced with the fixed step in his pictures. Darren

Dave - I can do that at the weekend - the step is as-new IIRC, but it's stored in a garage, and I won't get there until the weekend - I will do it then if you are not sorted in the meantime... Cheers Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Hi Martin Thanks for the help but I think I have sourced one from a mate. I am also not sure if the step will fold up without fouling the Nas step.
Sorry about the mixup earlier in the post, but as per normal I skimmed the post and engaged the keyboard before engaging my brain. |
