[Wanted] Looking for a set of Bowler Alloy Wheels
Been thinking about changing wheels, like you do, and fancy a set of Bowler Alloy Wheels. I would consider any colour, any size or Tyre combination as I am not sure myself if I want 16 or 18 or even colour.

Joe both look awesome! How do you find the 18" compared to 16"? James

Joe

Thanks for that, I assume from the pictures that they are anthracite. Which did you keep, did you start with the 16 then went to 18 or the other way round. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW

You can feel the difference between the 2 the 18’s with being lower profile have less side wall flex and give a stiffer feel slightly harder ride but it’s nothing really, I have both sets 16’s with Goodyear MTR’s for winter and 18’s with BFG AT’s for summer , not really a fan of the MTR’s they are noisier than BFG MT’s
Overall if you get the 16’s you will always wish you had the 18’s and if you get the 18’s you spend a lot of the time looking at them and stroking them so my choice would be 18’s

If I'm honest I wish I hadn't been so sensible and gone for 18". I just struggled to justify the extra cost for alloys and the tyres are nearly 40% more expensive. I turned down two sets of discounted 18" too, could kick myself Thud Sometimes you just have to go for it!

Anthracite are best Whistle James

I have both 16's and the 18's when you get a set you won't want to part with them, i started with the 16's as it was the tyre prices that put me off the 18's, if its mainly road work you do get the 18's

Well thanks to JOW240725 James suggestion I have a set of 18 in black on the way, will post some pics when all fitted.

Have decided on BFG K02 265 65 18, unless anyone has a better suggestion that I should consider. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW
