GREENI's fault
I've owned two factory V8's previously with the intention of rag topping them but could never bring myself to do it with them both being so original. Anyway with all the hysteria on the forum I just happened to stumble across this on Autotrader.
I viewed on Saturday and collected today. She's no show queen and I liken her to a 70's Bond girl - a stunner back in the day Laughing
There's lots to do to get her looking reasonable but not sure whether to get stuck in or run it through Summer first.
I have the magazine from when it was first completed and it is a shame she's ended up in this state.

I'll be putting gloss black arches on eventually. The spec is - she's rough. A transplant 3.9 under the bonnet.

There are numerous trinkets, stickers, badges and additions that all need removing. The full on sound system must have cost a fortune in the day - it's all coming out. The only sound I need is under the bonnet Very Happy .

Don't let living is Scotland be an excuse for not having a soft top! I run Alfred the 109 with a soft top 365 days of the year up here in Orkney! Leaks less than my sons 110 hard top! Rolling with laughter
