hi all, wondering if anyone can give me a head start! theres a tdci comming in tomorrow, will cut out after starting, and at junctions. it has no immobiliser fitted, has old td5 style key, when does start, on occasion, when revved will die down and stop, has and new filer last week too.
any suggestions, would be great! many thanks george |

As far as i know all the Pumas have imobalisers, mine has the old style key and old Rover key fob, only 2010my get the new key. I have had even the most basic farmers modles lent to me at Matfords and they have all had the flashing red light in the rev counter,even when they dont have central locking ect.
Cutting out and poor starting is either high pressure fuel sender/regulator on the back end of the rail or the high pressure fuel pump its self If everything is under control you are not going fast enough. Nope,not all Pumas have immobilser fitted.Mine does not have one,but I did have to search to find one without. Puma 110 SW

thanks no worries 4x4, changed the pressure regulator on the end of the rail, saw an improvement, it would run but would no stall at junctions and heavy braking (to a stand still), so the changed the vcv on the rear of the hp pump, which seems to have done it! thanks again
