Speed sensor pick up for cruise control
I have decided, with 3+ journeys from Cornwall to Scotland and a trip to Andalucia every year a cruise control would be in order.

I have searched and read many threads on the various issues involved in the installation and a recurring issue seems to be the connection for the speed control, the recommended (by suppliers) connection for this is the multi plug into the instrument cluster. Ive had this off before to replace my wiper gearboxes so i know how to get at it.

Another option appears to be to go to the transfer box end and splice into the cable from the plug there. So my question is, where, exactly is this plug located? is it easy(er) to access than the instrument cluster plug? from underneath or inside?

Finally, any views on which method is best?

Thanks,
