My car is a 1994 110 SW 300Tdi. It's vented at the front, solid at the rear. I imagine this would be the same on a hardtop of the same era - but I'm afraid I couldn't say for sure. Donald

Your 110 should have vented, though in 23 years previous owners may have fiddled with it.
But if you’re buying both calipers and discs then just get vented anyway as those are the only parts that differ. |

are you getting braided hoses too? that would be another upgrade to do if you are sorting out the brakes
One thing is why the hell do defenders have the solid discs at the front? Id have thought due to the weight and what they used for, they would have vented at the front. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

You can put vented on with 110 calipers. My puma, being a truck cab has solid discs, so I'm converting it to vented, I did it with the v8 too.

I’ve just bought a full set of vented front discs and new calipers and new rear solids with new calipers, will buy some braided hoses too, like you say I might as well put the braided ones on while there off and getting changed,

I've fitted vented discs to the rear also using brackets from red.winches.com I'm building it into a camper which will be quite heavy + I'll reduce the service parts I need to carry.
