It would be great to see the odd picture of some newly fitted blocks, the further afield the better. Some on their way out to Switzerland later this week

Another vote here for the service and packaging, Quality looks really good.
Will the general consensus be to paint the block to match the paint or leave as is. Would the blocks need a coat of something to maintain the finish. |

Now I have experimented a bit with mine. I gave them a gentle rub over with Jewellers Rouge which has brought up a nice gloss finish and them given them a coat of hard wax all over, let it set overnight and polished this morning.
This is the first finished one Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge My van is Montalcino red and gloss black so thought it would look better . Will fit next week 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

That’s quite a finish, great effort! They will tie in really nicely with the wheels and other details when finished.

I'd put a coat of wax or two on them if leaving unpainted. |

All orders placed now in the post. Thank you all.
I've had the odd query asking whether I've got any in stock. At the moment I've got about 20 sets left on the shelf. Don't forget there is a benefit to the forum with each sale! Many thanks Huttopia |
