TRACKING...
So, today i had my tracking done as my defender 90 was pulling slightly left... it no longer pulls, but my steering wheel is slightly to the right when going straight. I have an aftermarket momo wheel on the correct boss for the indicator cancellation. If i take the wheel off and move it round one spline, will it cause me any issues.. as i dont really have the time to go back and get it all set up and tracked again...

The garage have set your tracking wrongly. The wheel should be fixed in the straight ahead position, then the necessary adjustments made. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Start by checking that the draglink length is correct and the drop arm is in the centre of it's movement range when the wheels are straight ahead, once that's correct then adjust the steering wheel to suit. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop

Moving the steering wheel one spline on 2.4 Puma’s it’s fine I think but don’t now if causes any problems on later models. Might be a problem if the later ones with esp have a steer8ng angle sensor.

One spline is actually quite a big change and you might find it goes too far the other way. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
