Connecting to OBD socket
My OBD link scan tool does't seem to want to connect to my 2007 tcdi 90.

I know the scan tool works as I use it on my other cars, but this is the first time I have tried it on my Landy.

I have tried with the ignition in both positions but not with the engine running.

I assume the LR ECU supports OBD II comms?

Yes it does support OBDII can-bus. Always have the ignition off when connecting any OBDII plug as the scan tool will get power with the ignition off. I know that with the scangauge when I unplug it then re plug it, it takes a couple of minutes to power up. Where as the nanocom, alientech remap box and IDS system I have power up straight away on connecting. What make is the scan tool? Is it can-bus complient?

It's an OBDlink scan tool that connects to your laptop. Basically a CAN to USB coverter.

Certainly works on my 2009 GTR.
