It's all well and good having things factory set, but as we all know once they start to wear, and have been in the hands of 'the public' adjustments are necessary to keep things working.
Without the ability to be able to repair / coerce things back to life, it emphasises the throw away society we are becoming. Skills to carry out repair etc are disappearing fast.
I would hate to think how much money I have saved customers and myself over the years with a bit of 'outside of the box' thinking and being able to repair rather than simply replace.
