Carried out the mod today and it really makes a huge difference to the operating range of the remote. I've tried it from at least 30 feet and it worked! I was lucky to get 10 feet before.

Me to please, i have to stand right next to the vehicle to lock mine to point i might as well use the key If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
