With my 85 V8 90 and fairly soft springing which is similar to my old 2 door RR, the old girl does tend to wallow into corners, so I am thinking of fitting a front ARB as none is currently fitted. I'm looking for an OEM package, so which would be best?

Not being generally keen on Britpart stuff are there any recommendations for a front ARB kit?

I brought a second hand set from KD Landrovers, including all nuts bolts, new genuine bushes and good secondhand brackets. They advertised on Ebay the bare bar, but put a kit together for me. WWW.KD-LR.COM or 01663308010. No connection just great service Thumbs Up

My 04 90 doesn't have them... Im not sure I would want to be going fast enough to need em Rolling with laughter Although I do watch ebay for a cheap set to try them out.

I didn't realise for a long time, until an instructor took us to a particular section to get some pics with a wheel off the ground, the other defenders cocked a wheel and mine didn't Shocked naturally their pictures looked much better!

My 110 has rear, but no fronts (but does have the mounts) and I have been tempted to fit front ones as I spend most time on tarmac (to from work and occasional race circuits with some forest work as well) 1999 Defender TD5 110

I fitted front and rear standard ARBs and it totally transformed the ride. The majority of my driving is road and the commute went from being a nervous twitchy drive round some nasty bends with odd cambers to a far more planted and confident experience.

If you are spending more time off-road or happy to plod about very carefully on challenging tarmac then don't bother but anything else would be a yes in my opinion... Phil
