Alterberg boot owner here, they're blooming comfortable boots. I also found them to be incredibly good at temperature regulation. With a standard typical walking sock in winter my feet were perfect temperature and in the summer I didn't notice any particular sweaty feet thing going on.

For reference as well, I had them done up quite well, stepped into a river - unplanned... and got a wet ankle from the water going over the top of the boot... My foot actually remained dry.

Would have them, but I'm circa size 13 in these things... Rolling Eyes The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

I might be interested in these. Are they a generous 9, as I generally need a 9 1/2.

I’m a size 9 in all footwear- My main hiking boots are Meindls, but I need a size 10 to fit in them comfortably.
I tried one boot on just now and it fitted comfortably. So I guess they are quite generous. Hope this helps.

I have used alterberg boots for a fair while. Excellent, long lasting, decent boots. Comfortable for the miles.

I am a wide 9/9.5 and wear a 10 altberg M width. I do use sorbathanes. Cheers

Thanks M94PUMA & jst.

Unfortunately I think they may be a little on the small side for me based on jst's reply.

I can get away with a 9 in some boots, but tend to end up with size 10s.

They are an absolute bargain.
