I was talking to CSK earlier about this and he seemed to think the latest 2.2 shroud would fit earlier models too. (Can’t be guaranteed.) Even though it’s a bit bigger.
There seems to be a Bluetooth with and without version too. Regarding the late 2.2 steering electronic system I assume there is a switch hole in that or similar system?
If so, I suppose that may mean the late 2.2 cowls aren’t suitable. (Maybe a blank could be used?)
I’ve never seen the latest 2.2 steering column shrouds to see how they fit.
So I could be barking up the wrong tree all together.

I will probably stick to my existing shroud for now anyway and fit the locating peg and fixing even if the lower section needs minor adjustment to suit.

It’s interesting to see the evolution from 2.4 early to 2.4 late to 2.2 versions of these. Something I was not aware of at all originally.
I merely found this thread, because I intend to change the indicator stalk and other things and I found the fixing missing for the lower cowl when I took it apart to take a look. It seems that others had lost the same fixing too, with no sign left. Perhaps due to the almost vertical thread the fixing goes into with vibration. Or possibly wasn’t fitted at all.
